Not sure if I should title this post 'My Mommy Really Needs to go Back to Work' or 'Sippin on Gin and Juice'

Well, not only am I going bald, but I now have a case of 'Craddle Cap'. My mommy rubbed some gooey stuff all over my head and then proceeded to comb it in with my brush. I could tell my mommy was up to no good when when she started smiling at me and playing with my gooey hair. Before I could start to cry, or give her my pouty face, she had my nice and comfy outfit off and was putting this rockin number on me.

I'm digging my new look. It is a little more edgy than the blues and yellows I normally wear, and I think I will get hot 3-month old chicks with my Mohawk. Don't hate the player ladies, hate the game!

No photos please, and I don't sign autographs...Please, I just realized I have hands!

You Brought Me Home to This?

Last week when I was in San Diego and Palm Springs I was able to see pools, trees, flowers, and so many different things. This week we are home and yet again it is snowing/raining and my mommy or daddy aren't able to take me for walks or really out anywhere to see the world.
I feel like I'm missing so much. I sure hope the weather gets better soon!

Tales From the Road

As many of you know I embarked on my first adventure with my parents last week. On March 18th my mommy and daddy got me up really early so we could spend the whole day driving to San Diego! I spent a lot of the day sleeping. I get really snuggly warm in my carseat.

Then I got too snuggly warm and I cried for someone to get me out of my seat to stretch, change and feed me. That was truly the only time I had to throw a fit! Very decent if I can say so...Anyway, my parents stopped in some no name California town and after they tended to me they decided to eat at a Foster's Freeze...mommy had never heard of it before. They seemed happy with the choice.

We made it to San Diego right as the sun was setting so mommy and daddy decided to pull off and feed me at a look out point. I was able to eat my dinner while watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. It was very cool!!!

I was exhausted by the evening when we made it to the hotel. Mommy gave me a tubby and I went right to bed.
The next morning the weather was so nice I was again able to eat outside on the hotel balcony. There were cheerleaders practicing. They were loud, but all the couting I heard will have me saying my numbers in no time! 1-2-3-4, 5-6-7-8, rah, rah!!

My daddy had to work during the week so my mommy would take me for walks during the day and just hangout with me. The weather started to turn and it was windy so mommy didn't take me to the zoo, but she promised me in September she would. I really like animals. My Auntie Jax came and saw me on Sunday at the hotel. She brought me a really cool piggy bank that plays 'Take me out to the Ballgame' when I put in a coin. I love it. Aunti Jax also watched me Sunday evening so my parents could have dinner alone! It was great to spend time with her!!!

On Wednesday we had to get back in the car, but not before heading to the ocean one more time, this time we headed to Palm Springs were my Papa, Grandma Karen, and Auntie Bailey live.
It was such a surprise because my Great Grandma Joyce also was there. I had not meet her yet! It was really fun to have all four generations on the Rivers side together...

The weather in Palm Springs was amazing and with my daddy's help, I was able to get my feet in the pool . I had a great time splashing. My mommy went out and got me swim trunks for when the weather warms up here!

I had some professional photos taken for my 3 month marker while in Palm Springs. The guy was sort of weird but he sure was able to get me to smile and laugh. The whole family was there cheering me on to smile!

I also had my first lunch sitting outside at Tommy Bahamas. The people at the table next to us thought I was very cute and were making faces at me. I was okay during lunch, but I really wanted to take a nap. I couldn't decided between weird faces from stangers or a nap and that made me cranky.

When we came home my Auntie Bailey came back with us. My mommy and daddy took her to a concert. I got to see my Grammie and NoNo for the evening and that was better than any concert! At least for now!

Well, that is my tale from the road...we had fun! I got to see a lot of stuff and meet new family members!!!

Rogaine for Babies???

I just turned 3 months old this week and it is all ready happening...what! you might ask?
Hair Loss!!! Yes, even at my age you can experience this phenomenon. It seems like only yesterday that I had a nice full head of hair. Gosh, I guess it really was only yesterday!

As you can see from the photo I'm developing a perfectly round bald patch! My mommy has assured me that it is only temporary, but just to be on the safe side I have her going to the store to look for Baby Rogaine!

I almost forgot!

It is time for my nightly tubby, but I don't want to forget to tell everyone that my mommy just had a birthday...She is so much older than me! I don't think I will ever be as old as her... She seems to get really angry when anyone brings up the fact she is almost 30, Huh! don't know what that means!

I received a couple of packages today. One was from my great-great Aunt and Uncle Rivers (Cecil and Adeline) in Canada. Adeline knitted a beautiful blue hoodie sweater, blanket, and bibs for me, and I also recieved a cool new nightlight that was handmade by their son's wife. It is a little boy fishing with a dangling fish on a line. I had a lot of fun staring at it.
I also got a cool pair of jeans and a blue tee-shirt with sailboats on it from my Great Aunt Eleanor Donati.
I'm such a lucky boy...thanks to everyone who thinks of me and for all the wonderful presents I have recieved!

Also, my mommy and daddy are taking me on a roadtrip this Saturday to San Diego and then to see my Papa and Grandma Karen in Palm Springs, California. I'm really excited and I'm sure I will have lots of pictures and tales from the road to share with you! We will be gone from March 18-25...

Weekend At Grandma's...Part 2

I have been spending time with my Grandma, Grandpa, GG and Bonnie Dog. I love spending time with them!
My mommy got really sick and I ended up spending the night at their home on a weekday! That was exciting! My mommy needed time to rest, and truth be told she was really cramping my style...her voice was weird and she keep turning her head away from me and making coughing noises. Anyway, I enjoyed seeing everyone and avoiding what my mommy had.
Then just a few short days later I went back for a longer visit. This time was really fun. My grandparents had bought me a new swing, which I love, some cool sunglasses and a ball cap. It sure beats the beanie my mommy is always putting on my head. I hate that thing!!! I was so cool that my granparents took me to breakfast on Sunday to show me off. 'The future is so bright I have to wear shades!!!'
As you can see from the pictures I had a great time! Bonnie doggie enjoys my new swing as much as I do and I want everyone to meet my Grandpa Roger! He is great! I love snuggling with him, and we have the same hairdo.
I had a lot of fun and got a lot of great new toys...thanks grandma and grandpa for being so cool!

Lazy Friday...With My Pal Munchkin

Mommy and I were playing in my nursery with green froggy after lunch today when Munchkin decided she wanted to play. With my mommy's help I was able to sit up in a big green chair and Munchkin sat next to me. At one point both Munchkin and I yawned. My mommy clapped her hands and started laughing at us. This made me make some funny noises that I didn't realize I could make. It was a cross between a squeal and a snort. Mommy caught the moment with the camera. My doggie seems to know about the camera, she poses for it. I'm still learning, but maybe she can fill me in.
It was fun. Now I must go take my mid-afternoon nap.

Don't I Look Like Such a Big Boy???

My daddy snapped this photo of me during tubby time on Tuesday night. I think I look soooooo grown up. Wouldn't you agree?
My mommy calls this my 'Accountant in Training' pose. I think I may need to lose the bathtub/suds background to be taken seriously! Not to mention the lack of clothing.
Unless you are my Uncle Joe and Aunt Rachel Conforti (Comforti/Conspilli) they don't have high expectiations for tax preparations! Love you guys!!!
