Sipping on Gin and Juice Part II

You may remember around this time last year my mom taking some photos of me with my hair spiked and wearing a shirt that said "Born to Rock" with flames on it and me holding a born to rock bottle . Well, it is back. Not that shirt because hey, I'm a big boy now, and not the bottle because those were so last week, but it is the same old look with a different twist. If this doesn't say I'm going to be a rock star one day nothing does. Eat your heart out ladies.

The weather was really yucky today but I still had some fun. Today my daddy got me a basketball hoop. We had a great time playing in the house this afternoon. I thought I would share a little video of the action with you.

We also had friends over for dinner who are visiting from St. Louis. They brought me gifts and I had a great time showing off all my talents and my new basketball hoop.

Happy Second Easter!

I'm so excited to be celebrating my second Easter. Last year I was only four months, but this year being 15 months old I was much more excited about the holiday. I colored Easter eggs with Char as I told you earlier in the week. On Sunday we were suppose to BBQ on the new patio, but my mommy had a horrible cold so we decided that we would go out to the Atlantis for dinner.

My grammie made it over to our house first and brought me a super soft rabbit. I gave him a big hug and slobbery kiss. My grandma, grandpa and GG came over a short time later and brought me a big Easter basket filled with clothes, eggs, plush toys, puzzles, and books. My favorite toy is the Elmo remote. It is fantastic!!! I also got a monkey backpack. It has a monkey tail that my parents can hold onto so I don't get lost walking around.

We went to the Atlantis and I enjoyed some good food, but mostly I was able to have ice cream which I never get to have. It was great! All and all it was a great second Easter!!! Next year: Egg hunts...

You Never Know Where You May Find One!

Today my mommy turned around for three seconds and in that time I figured out how to climb up on the coffee table in the living room, but couldn't quite figure out how to get down. I yelled out and of course my mom had camera in hand and was snapping pictures. You never know where you may find me lurking...Don't worry I made it down safe and sound!

Early Easter Fun!!!

Tonight after dinner and a bath Char, mommy, daddy and I dyed Easter eggs. It was great fun! Char is heading home to Ohio for Easter so we had to start the Easter fun early. The night almost didn't happen since mommy forgot the eggs, but after an emergency Raley's run by Char, we were back in business. After boiling the eggs and preparing the dye we were completely ready. I was actually pretty good with the whole thing. I was curious about the eggs and I was memorized by the eggs when they were dyed. The egg dye package came with sticker faces, so I had a lot of fun trying to eat the stickers and saying hi to the eggs with faces. Char gave me two hard boiled eggs which I smashed together making a funny noise and a big mess! I also tried to eat the egg which didn't work out well, but I did get a small amount of dye on my mouth. I had a great time!

My 409...

You may remember the car my Aunt Holly got for me with flames on it. We just had some pavers laid in the backyard so I took my little car for a spin. Disaster happened when I ran my right foot over with the car's front tire. You will see my demeanor change about 3/4 way through the video. No worries....the car and I were joy riding again the next night!

BBQ and Final Four Weekend Fun!!!

I had a very busy weekend. Friday night I went to my first BBQ of the season at Melodie and Ryan's house. They have a really neat backyard with a fountain. It was fantastic. It had a waterfall and I just wanted to jump right in, but of course mommy put the ax on that idea. They also have a kitty which I was having an amazing time chasing around the house. My Uncle Matt and Rachel and Colin were also at the house.
On Saturday night we went to Mark and Char's house for Final Four NCAA action. Since the Wolf Pack was out of it early (Boo!) we didn't care who won, but it gave us a reason to all hang out!
Sunday we went for a nice walk with Melodie and saw some horses and puppies. I rode in the backpack and it got sort of windy. This didn't make me happy! I'm having fun throwing balls in the backyard and hope we have grass soon. I love being outside.

I'm still teething and pretty grumpy at times. Only nine more teeth to go!!!

I showed my parents and grammie a new trick on Sunday. I went and got a Kleenex from our 1/2 bathroom and wiped my nose. Then I actually threw the tissue in the garbage can. I'm sure it was a one time deal, but it made for a lot of excitement around the house.

Can you believe my mommy forgot the camera for all of this??? She normally is a stalker, but has realized lately that I'm too quick for the camera!
