Happy Halloween

This year as many of you know, I dressed up as a Dallas Cowboy's football player. We all decided to head down to my grandma and grandpa's house again. My grammie came down and my aunt Holly came all the way from California to see me in action.
This was the first year that I actually understood the whole 'Halloween thing'. I told my parents what I wanted to 'be' for Halloween, and I was practicing my 'Trick or Treat', but when it was go time we ran into a couple of snags.
First, I was scared of things this year unlike last year. Nothing last year bothered me we just referred to everything as 'silly guys' this year I found myself afraid of screaming things and bones in people's yards, as well as, some of the costumes we ran across.
I also found that going up to strangers was scary and I didn't care much for it. We all did our best and I cleared the loot with the five houses we did actually Trick or Treat. Everyone loved my costume. Many of my grandma's neighbors had extra special goody bags ready for me.
I also went to my school's annual Pumpkin Parade and my picture was taken by a Nevada Appeal reporter. I got many, many high fives from people who love the Dallas Cowboys. I also trick or treated at my mom's work. I didn't want to wear my costume, but I did talk to some people and meet Tigger!
I also had my flu shot and saw the dentist that afternoon. It has been a busy, busy holiday!

It is Getting Very Spooky Around Here

Today my mommy took my doggies in the back of the house and when Munchkin came running back to the living room, she was dressed up in a Bumble Bee Halloween costume. It was great! I squealed with laughter.

At first,Wylie didn't seem to think he could move with his Pumpkin costume on, but after a couple of steps he was off. Munchkin just wanted to eat her costume.

Nothing a couple of treats couldn't fix for some Halloween fun and pictures...for about five whole minutes before they demanded they be taken off!!!!

Boys will be Boys...

Today I came home from school and my mommy noticed my jeans. At school I was playing hard and tore my jeans at the knee, got a grass stain and then got orange paint on them. Look how serious I am in this picture. My sad brown eyes. I'm pretty concerned about my attire. I've never have actually ripped anything.
My mommy thought it was funny saying 'boys will be boys' and telling me that this will not be the last time I destroy my outfit in the name of fun!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we watched UNR trounce on Utah State during Homecoming! Go Pack!
Matty and Margot attended the game and visited with us last night. We even had dinner with Melodie and Ryan. Melodie is about to have baby Kelly any minute. We can't wait to meet her!

Today, my mommy, daddy, Mark, Char, Rachel, Joe, baby Sabrina, Catrina, Todd, Khyler and baby Briden all meet up at the Pumpkin Patch this afternoon. We had a great time looking through all the pumpkins and getting balloons. Sabrina and I even rode a pony and jumped in a couple of bounce houses. We all had dinner and some cake over at Mark and Char's house. I even announced to everyone that baby Sabrina is my girlfriend. Everyone laughed!
We had a great time!

School Field trip to the WNC Observatory

Today my mommy helped my teachers take me and my classmates from preschool on a field trip to the WNC Observatory.

At school the past few weeks we have been studying planets. We even built our own rocket ship and planet that have been hung up in our classroom. I love telling people that we live on 'planet Earth'. Finally, to cap off our planets and solar system studies we went to an observatory on campus, and were actually able to look through telescopes and see the Sun. It was amazing! I'm calling it the big white ball.

My New Wheels!!!

Hey everyone check out my new wheels!

My mommy and daddy took me to the store and I got to pick out a new bike. I have outgrown my tricycle. My mommy and daddy were amazed that I was able to get right on it and ride...like the wind! Even in the store I was riding around telling people 'I'm on a big bike!'

Boys Night!!!

Tonight my mommy and six of her girlfriends, plus Mark, all took a limo to see New Kids on The Block in Sacramento. NKOTB was an important part of my mom's tween years, so she says. She shared some of their music with me the night before the concert, and I loved a catchy little number titled 'Hangin Tough' she even taught me the dance that goes with it.

Well, I couldn't go to the concert, but my daddy and I had a boy's night that included a new mini-bounce house that is taking up a big part of our living room. It was great!

Snow...again...all ready???

Last weekend as I reported we had some snow dust our mountain tops. Yesterday we woke up to unseasonably cold temps and it snowed off and on, but nothing really stuck.
Then this morning I woke up and everything was covered in the white fluffy stuff. I wanted to go out and play in it so badly, but at 6:15 in the morning my mommy and daddy were not going to let that happen, so I had to hang out, have breakfast and watch the snow start melting. By the time my parents would let me out, the snow had melted off the patio. I played in it for a total of 5 minutes when I announced that it was cold and I was done playing in it!

Race for The Cure

Today, we all got up early, so that we could participate in 10th annual Race for the Cure. This is not only a Reno event, but all over the nation to help in the fight against Breast Cancer.
We joined up on the Wal-Mart Pharmacy team that our good friend Rachel Conforti started. Our team raised over $3,000 and thanks to the generosity of my friends and family I was able to raise $250.
It was an amazing experience to be surround by 6,000 people many of which were survivors of Breast Cancer or walking in honor or memory of someone they have lost to the disease. One of the more heartbreaking moments was two young girls who were walking in memory of their mommy. Char and I walked in honor of her good friend Mary who is currently battling Breast Cancer.
One of the greatest parts was all the different teams and their name. There were teams such as the 'Legal Titty Committee', 'The Melon Mafia', 'Save Second Base', and just simply 'I heart boobs' which had many men (shocking) wearing pink shirts.
Simply said it was an amazing experience and we can't wait to participate again next year!!!

Happy Halloween....Trick or Treat!

Today my mommy and I started to decorate the house for Halloween. This is the first year that I'm really getting it. Before I was put into a costume, and trolled around from house to house, but I didn't really understand the concept. That has all changed this year, I'm getting my Halloween on.

I told my parents what I wanted to dress up as (Cowboys football player), and I'm practicing my 'Trick or Treat' and 'Happy Halloween' techniques. My mommy found this cape and witches hat in our boxes of decorating goodness and I ran around the yard scaring my mommy and daddy and the neighborhood for a good hour. Then my mommy found another hat and chased me around the garage and front yard. She was laughing this really loud cackle and kept saying 'Come here my pretty!' It was totally scary, but I laughed and had a great time!

It is really fun learning and celebrating the holidays. I'm all about telling people I meet that my birthday is at Christmas. Oh how things change in just a few short years!

First Dusting of Snow

Welcome to our Nevada weather!!!

Not even five days ago temperatures were still near 90 degrees and this morning we woke up to our first snow of the season in the mountains, and a temperature in the sixties on the valley floor during the day. Not to mention windy. This could be the beginning of a blustery winter.
