Easter Sunday!

Happy Easter everyone!
The past couple of weeks have been crazy busy, so this weekend was all about relaxing and enjoying a very early Easter weekend. Saturday we just puttered around the house and played outside and hung out. Saturday evening Char came over to dye eggs. It is becoming a tradition and we always have a great time! Char brought me an Easter basket full of candy and a great big green ball. Needless to say, I love it!
Sunday my grammie came over for a visit. My grammie brought me a singing Easter guy. It is a rabbit fishing and two frogs who move and sing. Very fun! We had a lot of fun. I showed her all my new toys and new things I can do. We tried to fly my new Spiderman parachute guy, but there wasn't enough wind. Can you believe it? There is always wind in Nevada. We enjoyed watching my mommy run around the yard trying to make it happen. I'm pretty sure my grammie snapped a few photos of the event. Good times.

I Think My Mommy's Gone Crazy

Picture it: Saturday afternoon and I'm lying in bed taking a nap with my mommy. All of a sudden something about her catches my eye. What the??? Hmmm, there is something very strange on her nose. First thing I do is reach out to touch what ever it is. Mommy sees me and makes a move to protect it. With out missing a beat I inform her that I think what is on her nose is soap, again making a swift motion to get it off her nose. Again, mommy moves very quickly to protect the 'soap' that I so desperately wanted to get off her face.
Know what? My mom has gone completely mad since turning 30, and it turns out that what was on her nose was not soap at all, but a nose ring.

I should have known that soap would never be that shiny!!!

Up, Up and away...Don't Mess with Texas!

My parents and I just got back from a five day trip to Texas. We spent two days in Austin, TX and three days in San Antonio. I have officially earned my wings by taking my first flight. I actually did smashingly well. Every time we would take off I would put my hands in the air, like when you ride a roller coaster.

When we got to our hotel I was shocked to see two big Swans and Koi fish in the lobby. Pretty much all I could talk about for the next two days were the 'Wams'...
I had a great visit with my aunt Jacquie and Anthony. I got some way cool dinosaur toys from them. They also have a dog (Rudy) and cat (LB) which I was very found of. They took us to a neat little lunch spot called the Shady Grove and I actually ended up spilling my daddy's iced-tea all over Jacquie. Good times right there.
It is sort of funny because Austin's motto is 'Keep Austin Weird', sounds like my kind of town. The entire rest of our trip I asked if I was going to see Jacquie and Anthony again.
This was the second time I have been to San Antonio. The first time was in my mommy's belly a few years ago. My daddy had a work engagement so my mommy and I spent a ton of time together! We went for a walk and boat ride on the River walk. We went to the San Antonio Children's Museum and took lots of naps together. I was a little off my normal sleep schedule. It was a still a bit too chilly for the pool. My mommy really wanted to take me to the zoo, but unfortunately we didn't make it. We all went to a Spur's basketball game. I had a great time and was yelling 'defense' along with the crowd. This of course got people laughing.
I really wanted to come home though and see my puppies. I kept telling my mommy that I 'need to go home and I want to go home to see my puppies'.
I'm happy to say that I'm currently at home with my puppies right now!!!
