Happy Halloween!!!

Today I'm celebrating my first Halloween. My mommy came home a few weeks ago with a big fluffy thing that sort of looked like my puppy and proceeded to put it on me. Turns out the big fluffy thing was a lion costume. Well, I'm really not sure what to make of it, but my mommy and daddy dressed me in it for some professional Halloween photos. My lion photo was entered into a costume contest by the photo studio, so who knows, I could win someone over with my cuddly lion costume.
Today at school we had a parade. They took all of us little creatures, pirates and goblins over to the main college campus to parade us around. We then had a small Halloween party with just the little guys in my room, Aidan and Bella.

I came home with a bag of goodies that my mommy wouldn't let me have...I really don't understand it...I just want a taste! She told me next year! In school we also did some finger painting and made a pumkin both of which we got to bring home and my mommy and daddy are proudly displaying my art work on the fridge.

After my dinner I helped my mommy pass out candy to some children. They all looked so silly. I didn't know what to make of it really. I saw a little guy about the same size as me in a dinosaur costume.
We didn't get to carve the pumpkin tonight since it took my mommy over an hour to get me home. Something about an accident. All I know is I was sick and tired of being in that seat. I guess I will have something to look forward to next year.

Then we went out in the cold and I really didn't care much for that. I had a small basket that had something about Christmas on it, my mommy forgot to get me a pumkin candy holder. She kept telling my daddy to turn the basket around so the Christmas thing didn't show.

We went to one house for a small taste of what I should love later in life..Trick or Treating. Our friends Melodie and Ryan live a block over so we all took a small walk to their house. It was fun, but I was tired and really ready for a tubby and then night, night!

Lucy, I'm Home!

Well after 7 long months our new house is final finished. It was actually finished about a month ahead of schedule so that was nice.

We spent about 7 weeks in Carson City with my Grandma, Grandpa, GG and Bonnie Dog! It was a lot of fun and honestly the first night in our new home I didn't sleep really well because I missed everyone and everything was so new, but each night I get more used to my wonderful crib and my new room.

My Papa and Grandma Karen came all the way up from Palm Springs, CA to help with the move and for my Papa to do some little extras with my daddy.

My mommy and daddy worked really hard on getting my room completly together so I would feel less out of place when I arrived. Both my parents have been working really hard this past week to unpack, paint and make our new house a home.

I have plenty of space to crawl and plenty of things to get into trouble with. We have a fireplace and that is new. I have never really seen fire before. I have actually only seen it once since my parents thought it was dangerous. Actually I think it was more of my mommy thought it was dangerous.
I have a whole bathroom to myself that my mommy of course decorated with duckies! I love it. They keep my completely entertained during bath time!

All and all I miss my grandparents, but I'm happy to have a home and getting settled again!

I'm a Party Animal...Somebody Stop Me!!!

Today I attended my first Birthday party! My buddy Nico invited me, my mommy and daddy to help him celebrate turning the big number 1. Most of his family and some little friends all got together for a BBQ in their backyard. He has a lot of really neat toys that I had a lot of fun playing on.
Nico was showing me how to stand up and push his Elmo lawnmower. Then he grabbed his cousin's hair and she started to cry. For a change it wasn't me who was being told no for having a fist full of hair.
I didn't have cake, but I enjoyed some turkey hotdog, cheese and rice cereal with pears. It was a lot of fun. I especially loved the balloons. I really, really wanted to eat one, but for some reason it just wouldn't fit into my mouth like most things. Hmmmm...maybe next time.
Nico's mommy Joleen made him a chocolate monkey cake and he ended up mashing most of the monkey's ear on his face and in his hair. It was really cool!
I had a fantastic time and am so happy he invited me to his party!!!
I can't wait to through a 1st birthday bash of my own!

Nine Month Pictures!!!

Yep, it was that time again. Time for more pictures!!!
Not only does my mommy follow me around with a camera 24/7 she insists on taking me to have 'professional' shots every three months. So on Saturday my mommy and daddy along with my Grandma, Grandpa, GG, Auntie Holly, NoNo, and Grammie took me to Little People Portraits in Carson City for my nine-month pictures.
I have been really teething this past week and my mommy was really worried I would be cranky, but I took a good nap and had some lunch and I was ready to pose for the camera.

The studio was very cool and my family had a lot of options for backgrounds and props. They took a lot of fun shots and a couple not so fun shots. One I looked really afraid and one I looked totally surprised, but all and all I had a lot of fun. I fell of the red bike once and rolled out of the Radio Flyer wagon, but it didn't even phase me. There was no way I was going to be a cry baby like the little girl in the studio next to me! I still don't completly understand why I couldn't eat the red apples.

As you can see I'm changing a great deal every three-months. The next time I have professional photos done it will be Christmas and MY 1st BIRTHDAY!!!!! Can you believe it???

Da-Da, Da-Da, DADA!!!

The past few weeks have been really tough on everyone! We have all been sick and with moving I have been more than a little out of sorts. I have been saying Mama, and Ba-ba but really I have been grumpy and just not in the mood to talk. I have a new scream that I love to give my mommy. I wish she would learn not to keep me waiting and I wouldn't have to scream. Sometimes I just do it for fun, because I can!

The past couple of days have been really good and I'm feeling better about all the change in our life, so this morning I was so excited to see my daddy that I blurted out DA-DA.

Both my mommy and daddy seemed very excited about me saying Da-Da! And it is so much fun to say. The whole day everything has been Da-Da!!! Of course I smile the best smile after saying. That part is just for effect!

Riding the Bull...Doing the Bull Dance

My Great Grandma Joanie brought home this interesting creature the other day. Her name is Sally the Snail. I

can rock on her and if I push one of her 'feelers' she plays music while I ride. she also provides a hiding place for toys in her snail shell. At first I wasn't to sure about all this. I got on with my mommy and grandpa right by my side and I almost fell off of her. Now Sally Snail is mine!!!

After a good ride on Ms. Snail I crawled over to the coffee table and pulled my self up! It was exciting. I really like all the fun things my body can do. I find something new everyday!!! You wouldn't believe how good toes taste and how much people hate being pinched!

One..Two..Three...Four...I start Music Class

I started music class with my mommy today! It was a lot of fun. We have to be at daycare earlier than normal, but it was really fun. There is only one other infant besides myself. His name is Aidan. The other kids are about 18 months old and they are all girls...Ohhhhh, yucky!
Ms. Shirley is one of my music class teachers and she is really nice and has a very soothing voice. I started class by sitting in my mommy's lap and we sang the 'Hello' song. We introduced ourselves and passed a stick with a bell on it around the room.
We sang songs, played with a holla hoop, and other instruments. We danced with our mommy's and I had a really good time.
I have music with my mommy until Dec!
