Memorial Weekend...Lake Tahoe Fun!

My Auntie Holly and Evan rented a cabin on Lake Tahoe for Memorial Day weekend. We drove up there for the day and had a great time! I played in the sand , played with doggies, and went on my first boating trip!

It was awesome! My mommy, daddy, grammie, auntie Holly and Evan all piled in for a great time. We went from Camp Richardson to Emerald Bay. I was having a great time with the wind blowing in my hair and waving to the other boaters and just relaxing. Every time the boat would go up and down on a wave I would say 'wow' and 'ya'. I was waving to my daddy who was sitting up front. We then just idled and turned off the boat and listened to music around Emerald Bay and I was so relaxed. My mommy had me all wrapped up in a towel and I was just limp. I almost fell asleep! Then heading back we hit some big wakes from other boats and got splashed. I squealed with delight! It was all very exciting...

When we were going really fast my grammie's hair was blowing in the wind. We all laughed and my daddy took some photos against her will. Good Times!!!

We had a great day and Munchkin and I were so tired on the drive home. I thankfully had a great nap in the morning so was able to last the whole day!

Friday night...Movie Night

About a week ago I was at a restaurant with my parents and on the television I caught a glimpse of 'Donkey' from the movie Shrek. Now, I don't watch TV, but Donkey caught my eye and I was so excited.

Tonight while dinner was being prepared my daddy put on Shrek. I actually sat and watched a little of it with him. Probably about 10 minutes, but I loved it! I danced when some music came on and when I saw Donkey for the first time I squealed with delight.

I enjoyed sitting with my dad and watching part of the movie. I quickly grew bored and dinner was ready, but it was exciting!

Happy Anniversary Mommy and Daddy!

Today is my mommy and daddy's seven year wedding anniversary. It is a special day not only because my parents got married on this day in 2000, but two years ago in 2005 it was the exact day they got to see me and my heart beating for the very first time! I was only 8 weeks old in my mommy's belly.
Both my grammie and grandma helped out so my parents could celebrate this whole weekend.

Baby Splish Splash!!!

The weather seems to finally have changed to Summer in our area, so my mommy and daddy surprised me with a little fun in the sun activity yesterday. Our backyard isn't quite done yet, but hopefully next weekend, so we had to play in the front yard. I had a baby pool last year, but only enjoyed it a couple of times since we moved and the weather got yucky so this year my parents got me a Baby Splish Splash.

As you can see from the pictures it isn't really deep (4 in), this makes my injury prevention mommy happy, but it sprays water continuously and has a shark I can sit on and a whale slide I can use. It has floaties I can stack and a stingray that builds up water so when you walk over it WATCH OUT, it will get you with a big burst of water! My mommy placed the slide right by it so when I went down WOSH!

Melodie and Ryan came over to enjoy the Splish Splash and I really think Mel and mommy enjoyed splashing more than me. I'm not sure though because once I got used to the water temperature I was having a blast. My parents decided it was time for me to get out so my mommy took me inside and gave me a warm towel from the dryer and my daddy took part of the splish splash down. I later saw it in the garage and wanted to play some more.

Welcome Baby Conforti

At 7:03 this morning our friends Rachel and Joe Conforti welcomed their first child into the world. 'Baby C' is now Sabrina Madeline Conforti who weighted in at 6lbs, 12 oz and is 20" long.

Jacob Doing a Little Dance

I have recently discovered the art of dance. I used to just shake and wiggle my bum, but now I'm swinging my arms and having a great time! One of my favorite songs is 'Ring Around the Rosey'. I even sing the 'ashes, ashes we all fall down' part and land on my bum. Another of my favorite songs is 'When you are happy and you know it'. I enjoy clapping my hands and dancing. My mommy has been trying and trying to catch video of this, but as usual I never preform for the camera. She caught me for a quick second so enjoy!

Lazy Sunday!

This morning my mommy took me to a new park in our neighborhood. We had snow earlier in the week, but today was fantastic.

My mommy had planned this little outing with a lady she knows through her co-worker Kelly. Kristen has a little boy just like me and they thought it would be fun to get us together.

Jack is my new buddy!

He is just a little older than me. He will be two in July. We didn't really know what to make of each other at first, but we hung out some on the swing-set and the bouncy dinosaur. I did not understand that I had to sit back in the swing, but I loved it! I also really liked the slides.

Good times...good times!
