I'm going to tell my Mommy on You!!!

My doggy Munchkin decided that she didn't just need one treat, but that she needed the whole bag of treats! My mommy didn't realize what she had at first and before she could react Munch was out her doggie door running at top speed around the backyard!
My mommy was on it, but it was no use Munchkin is just to fast for her. Then to add insult to injury Munchkin was able to run into the house, under the bed and then back outside before mommy even made it to the hallway!

Anyway, my mommy has a lot of patience and she waited until Munchkin got bored and retreived the bag of treats. I didn't hear the whole conversation...is it truly a conversation when only one person is speaking?...but Munchkin got a big lecture on taking treats and coming when called. I need to remember when my mommy tells me to come to do it, I don't want to be like my pal Munchkin with a pat on the bum!

Memorial Day Weekend!

I celebrated my first Memorial Day weekend!
It was cool...my uncle Matty came into town on Friday and he stayed through Sunday night!
The weather was terrible. It actually snowed on Saturday. I had to get into my snow suit to go out and meet Matty and Mrs. Buffo with my mommy and daddy for lunch! Brrrrrr...it was cold!

Then on Sunday we had a BBQ at our house. A lot of people came over! It was a lot of fun and smelled really good! A bunch of people hugged and snuggled me, including Mark and Char. I loved these photos so much I had to share. Mark has a great nose to grab and he has a lot more hair on his face than my daddy! I have been a little cranky because of those darn teeth, but I was all smiles while everyone was here!
I guess this means it is Summer!!! I like the warmer weather...I can be outside more. My mommy bought me a pool, can't wait to try that out! I really like the water!

Shop Till We Drop!

My grammie took me out for a spin yesterday. We went to Wal-Mart were I got a new swing for grammie's house so I'm more comfortable. You should have seem my mommy trying to put it together, very funny!
My grammie also got me a super soft blanket and cool doggie toy. The doggy does lots of neat things and has a lot to chew on. I also got an Elmo and Wiggles video. I watched the Wiggles and really liked it. I was hopping and smiling in my Exersaucer. All my new stuff will be over at Grammie's house when I go to visit.
We had a nice day...everyone told her how cute I am, and I was the best little boy ever. Thanks Grammie!!!

Do you Like My Hat???

Mommy bought me a great new outfit while in Palm Springs that includes some awesome swim trunks with surf boards on them, and a cool hat. My daddy said I looked like I belonged in Wisconsin when he saw me in my new hat. Then made a joke that I completly don't get about my "brother Darrell" and my other "brother Darrell" !@?? Mommy laughed...hmmmm.
Sort of hurt my feelings because as you can see from these pictures I think I'm the cat's meow. My mommy took me outside while she planted some flowers and I was happy to be shaded with my new hat.
Wait till my dad wears socks and sandels for the first time this summer, it will be on buddy!!!

Today was my mommy and daddy's six year wedding anniversary! Last year on May 20th ( 5 Years) they got confirmation of my impending arrival and their first glimpse of me. I was still in my tadpole stage! What a difference a year makes!!!

Pal'n Around...Best Friends are We!!!!

As many of you may know, my mommy and a co-worker were pregnant at the same time. Nico and I are almost exactly 3 months apart., he was born in September! We got together for the first time!
It was great to see what I will be doing really soon. Nico was rolling around and smiling and his laugh sounded so much different than mine. I really want to roll around like that!
(On a side note Gretchen my babysitter caught me rolling over 3 times this week, now my parents want me to do it...when I feel like I will give them a show, back to my point.)
He really liked my doggie and he was showing me how he can pinch. He told me that he likes to do that to his mommy, but pulling her hair is even better. I'm learning my mommy also really likes that! Screams are a good thing right?
I was a little cranky pants so I just didn't want to smile for any of my pictures, but the next time Nico comes over to visit I will be ready with some mad rolling over and hair pulling skills.
Boy, it is great to have a buddy show me the ropes!!!

Mother's Day

Wow, it is tough work being a baby, but imagine what it is like to be a mommy? On Sunday we had a celebration for my mommy! My grammie, NoNo, Aunt Holly and Cousin Loren all came over to celebrate my mommy having me and caring for me. It was a great day!
First off I was able to crawl into bed with my mommy. I love getting all snuggly with her and falling asleep. Then we got up and we watched Munchkin play with her friend. Then we BBQ'd. My daddy went all out for my mommy. He made her breakfast and then BBQ'd her favorite hot dogs and even bought mommy a cake! Mommy keep saying she should eat it. Apparently not only did she have to make sure I became the little man I am today, but she gained a bunch of weight in the process...Hmmmm, I think she is perfect, on most days. Plus at my size everyone seems huge. Everyone keeps telling me how small my doggie is, but when she is in my face she appears like a white cotton balls with eyes....scary!
It was not only a great day for mommy, but I was finally able to meet my cousin Loren! he is awesome...he was tickling my feet and making me laugh. He had a really bad sunburn, but he had fun holding me and chatting me up. Loren also brought his girlfriend Kim. She was so pretty. I was giving her my best smiles, giggles and coos! If I wasn't a wee little man Loren would have a run for his money!!!! It was a good day, I'm happy my mommy took such good care of me in her belly, and brought me into such a wonderful family.
I heard we celebrate my daddy soon!!! Good Times...

Munchkin has a Play Date with a Yorkie named Bailey

My doggie Munchkin had an impromtu play date with a Yorkie by the name of Bailey on Sunday. Bailey made his way to our back yard and was going to jump down from the big rocks when my daddy at the last second was able grab him and place him in the yard. That is a big jump for a little tike like Bailey. Bailey looks much different than Munchkin. He was really cute and brown. When they started running around the yard I giggled. it was really bright so I only hung out for a minute. My mommy and daddy waited for Bailey's owner to come get him, but after a couple hours my mommy had to call his mommy. Turns out they didn't even know he was gone. Both Munchkin and Bailey decided to snuggle with my daddy. It was cool to watch Munchkin play!
She has play dates just like me...One day we will be able to play together...too bad she isn't a real little girl!!
