To Lake Tahoe and Beyond!!!

My mommy and daddy took me on a drive to Lake Tahoe (Nevada Beach) to visit my Uncle Matt and the Buffo family over the 4th of July holiday weekend. I was really, really cranky in the morning. My mommy didn't want me to go. My gums were achy and I’m constantly drooling. They hurt so badly the other day I actually tried eating my highchair. Anyway, on with the story. By the afternoon I had some Tylenol and a nap and I was ready to rock! We went to the camp site. I was amazed by the large pine trees. They smelt really good. I saw a chipmunk and Mrs. Buffo has little doggies. I even went into the ultra cool camper they have!!!

Along with my parents and Mattie I went down to the beach. My parents had a big umbrella and I was able to roll around on my big blanket. I had my ultra cool swim trunks and SPF 50 on. I braved the water. Actually, my feet braved the water. It felt really good. I had fun splashing around and whatnot. Back under the umbrella I was snuggling with my mommy’s leg and then the urge to have a little nap came over me. I closed my eyes letting the warm breeze and mommy’s leg comfort me. When I woke up and wanted to play some more, my mommy, caught me in the nick of time from eating a handful of sand….Oh crunchy! I also saw some geese. They were as big as me...scary!

We then went back to the campsite where I had a dinner of sweet potato and everyone else had some BBQ. It was really fun to have such a new experience. The sights, sounds and people were really fun.
