Turtles Summer Water Play!

Today at daycare we started our summer outdoor water play. Hence my totally great board swim shorts. It was really fun! My mommy came to check it out! Imagine her showing up when she can take even more pictures of me...crazy, I know! It was really great to see her during the day. She stayed for lunch, helped me change my clothes, and laid me down for a nap. Of course I was sad to see her go and she was sad to leave.

Basically, for the next few weeks on Fridays my turtle class and the 2-3 year olds will be going outside in the mid-morning to run through the sprinklers and play with water related toys.

We have a really nice big grassy area to have loads of fun in everyday that the weather allows us to go out. Today we just added water.

I was the very first one in my class to go running over to the Elmo, or 'momo' as I call him, sprinkler and start the water fun. I didn't understand why he kept spraying my face with water, so finally after getting soaked I walked away. I had a good time playing in the water, but was ready for some lunch and a nap fairly quickly. My buddy Aidan's mommy also came to visit, so my mommy snapped a picture of Aidan and his mommy playing in the water.

Today was also the first time I have worn 'flip-flops' as my parents called them. They were okay, but half way through I wanted my mommy to take them off.

So far this summer even if we are two days in has been really, really fun!!!
