Weekend in the Sun

Week after week we have had snowy, windy, and all around blustery weather. This weekend has been different, and we are taking full advantage of it! Yesterday my grandma took me over to Empire Golf Course. You might remember that for Christmas this past year my grandma and grandpa gave me an actual set of golf clubs. Well, yesterday I took them out on a test drive (get it?) and I have decided that I really like golf. I decided I would drive my grandma crazy until she would take me out. I acutally did really well and understood holding the club correctly and the arrows on the head. Go Jake Go!!

My parents have been really sick the last week. Both ended up in the Urgent Care, so after a week of sickness, coughing and runny noses we decided to venture out to the park. The elementary school I will be attending is about .5 miles from my house and has an amazing 'kindergarten' school yard. It is great because it is close and never very crowded. I had a blast and played for about two hours. It was really great to be out in the sunshine. I met a couple of new friends. Onr was a little older than me and one was about 3 months younger than me. Good Times...
