Weekend fun and work

The past week was very hectic, and we had a bunch of earthquakes in our area which kept everyone on edge. I never felt one, and our house has no damage.

But this weekend, we had great weather, and I spend most of Sunday morning outside playing with my new bubble mower and helping my mommy and daddy clean up the yard. I now have two mowers and was having fun trying to push both of them at the same time. I got really muddy and was having a great time.

My mommy and daddy went out on a date Saturday night. I stayed with Lindsey. They attended the Reno premiere of 'Pyramid Highway'. This is an indie film that one of my daddy's co-workers wrote, produced, and directed. She is trying to get some momentum built up, and get the picture into a couple of film festivals.

On top of the birthday party I attended on Saturday in Carson City, I also went by my grandma and grandpa's house where I played with my golf clubs. I'm getting good!

Happy Birthday to Noah

Today I went to a second birthday party at the Carson City Children's Museum for my buddy Noah. We go to school together. It was a lot of fun. I have never been to the Children's Museum and I had a great time hanging out with eight of my little friends. I played air hockey for the first time and I amazed my mommy that I actually got the concept of how to play. There was also a large fan that would shot things, such as a balloon, all the way to the ceiling, it was a huge hit.

This is the first birthday party I have gone to where I understood the birthday concept. I actually sang to Noah and realized I gave him a present, all though, I did not find it amusing the night before when my mommy was wrapping it. I told her is was my birthday and that was my present.

So Hungry...

Tonight when I got home from school I was soooooo hungry. I was following my mommy around the kitchen when I spotted a blueberry muffin. I asked my mommy to open it for me. She tried to convince me that I could wait for dinner, but I have my ways (crying) to change her mind. She placed me on the counter top and I started to devour the whole muffin. This is funny because it was a very large muffin and I normally don't eat that type of stuff, but I was sooo hungry I ate the whole thing and a cup of milk before dinnertime, and still ate my dinner. I'm a growing boy!

Uh Oh...

As many of you know, I have a gift for gab. I have quite the vocabulary and seem to pick up new words and phrases each day. All of this has been okay, until recently. It seems that somewhere I have pick you the the word 'Damn' and now seem to think it is funny to elicit a reaction from my parents when they hear it. I seem to know this is a bad word because right after I say it I will coyly look at one of them and say 'Hello Mommy or Daddy'. Interesting!
Also, just recently I said 'oh s***' even in proper context. I don't really know where I have heard this language, but I guess in my two years I have.
Hmmm, my mommy told me today if I said 'Damn' one more time she would put soap in my mouth. Can we take a poll on if you think she will really do that? My vote is yes!

Bye-Bye Bowling

You may remember that I was attending a bowling league with my mommy and daddy. Well, the time has come for the bowling league to end. I think my mommy shed a tear (wink, wink). We all enjoyed our bowling experience, but it was hard to get there after work with commuting, and a couple of weeks I just wasn't interested (or sick) in going.

But on our last night I was all smiles. I ate a HUGE piece of pizza and half of a cookie. I was also actually able to bowl!!!! I was so excited! My daddy helped me a lot of course; because even though I'm a super toddler, I can't exactly lift and throw a 5lb bowling ball.

One of the league organizers was Betty, she works with my daddy, and she just loved having me there. Every time she would throw a strike (which was a lot) she would come over for a 'high five' from me. On our last night when awards were handed out, I won the 'best high five giver' award. I got some great coloring books, bowling pin and certificate. It was a lot of fun!

My Mommy and Daddy Rock!

Tonight my mommy and daddy went to see Van Halen. Apparently, this is a rock band from the dark ages (remember everything before 2005 is the dark ages to me). They do a little ditty titled 'Jump' that I love. Eddie Van Halen is one of the greatest guitarist of our generation. I stayed home with my Great Grandma Joanie. While the two of them went out with a group of friends.

They had amazing front row seats and everyone got guitar picks thrown at them, and David Lee Roth even did a little 'shout out' to my mommy. She was really, really, really embarrassed.

Oh my, I need to keep a watchful eye on my parents, or who knows why kind of trouble they will get into.

Bring on Summer

It has been a crazy last few weeks with my mommy and daddy coming home from Mexico, and everyone getting sick, but now we are back in the groove and getting ready for some super fun outdoor summer activities. We had amazing weather this past weekend, but then yesterday it snowed...boo!

Anyway, I know the weather will be nice for good really soon, so my mommy and daddy got me a bike helmet and knee/elbow pads, so I will be able to ride my tricycle outside now. I also got a super cool wagon that seats two, has a canopy and cup holders. I had a great time helping my daddy put it together. I really like to take walks with my mommy and daddy, but get tired after a while, so they thought the wagon could help.

All I can say is 'Bring on Summer'...I'm ready to spend some time outdoors...
